Archival pigment print series from two 2-hours walks in two Icelandic towns and two different times of day.
I set out to photograph two towns with two 2-hour walks. One was photographed starting at midnight, the second I began at midday. Forlorn yet not abandoned, the fog and the 24-hour day light of north east Iceland appears to merge and trap these far flung communities in time. A stone’s throw from the arctic circle renders the diurnal and nocturnal atmospheres equivalent.
